My name is Lucille Trujillo, I am the Outreach Director at the Pasadena Home. I entered the program in June of 2001 out of the West Valley Detention Center in San Bernardino County. At that time I was looking at 3 years in prison for a meth addiction, but God had another plan for me, instead of prison I was court ordered to the Home for a year. I completed the yearlong program in June of 2002 I remained in the completers program and graduated in 2003. I have 3 adult children and 5 beautiful grandchildren, I am married to my wonderful husband Arthur, and we have been married now for close to 5 years. I love to read and listen to the word of God.

What is your favorite scripture?
Isaiah 54:13 NKJV
What book is on my nightstand?
Bible or a book on Leadership.
What is one of your favorite memories at the WHH?
My favorite memory, or I might say memories, was when we would have fun days with the ladies on Holiday’s, when we would camp on the beach and my most favorite was when Mom B was surprised with a Mariachi band on her Birthday.
What is your favorite food?
My Favorite food is seafood, along with the traditional Mexican food, I also like to try new dishes.
What makes you laugh?
I like to laugh at corky stuff and I usually tell some corny joke, sometimes about myself, I think it’s important to make light the things that aren’t so important. To find the silliness of life and just enjoy life, don’t take things too personal and relax. We have many challenges in life so don’t waste time on being so serious that you can’t enjoy the journey.
