I was born and raised in Florida. I got addicted to drugs fairly early on in my life. The first time I ever smoked pot I was only 8 years old. I grew up with a sick mom and I always struggled with the stress that has unfortunately came from that. By the time I was 16 I was a full blow drug addict. I didn’t grow up in the church or even really believe in God. But by the time I was 25 years old I had tried everything, literally: AA, NA, drug counseling therapy, a 3 month wilderness program, suboxone, methodone, and unfortunately tried to kill myself on 4 different occasions.

By the grace of God, my Aunt Cynthia gave me the number to Hoving Home in NY and my life has been completed transformed. I dedicated my life to the Lord only 3 weeks after being there and then started the hard work of my underline issues. God has truly blessed me beyond measure.

Today I am a mother to 3 children (Eliza, Emmett, Joshua), a wife to Jeremy, a homeowner and most importantly a Christ follower. I stay actively connected with my home church in Arkansas where I now reside. I am excited to be a part of the Hoving Home team and get a chance to witness other ladies experience true freedom from addiction through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

What is your favorite scripture?

Romans 10:14-15

“But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” ”
