I am from San Diego, California. Since the age of 18 I have experimented often with drugs. I started drinking before the age of 21 and was always in dysfunctional relationships. I had completely lost hope in everything and everyone. I was checked out and living through a haze in between hangover and next fix. I got into the mindset that everything was replaceable or had no value because it was so easy to steal or take what I wanted. It was fake to me. At my lowest I found myself Injecting meth, selling drugs and myself to support my habit. I found myself becoming comfortable with getting picked up by the cops. I needed to change my people, places, and things. Hoving Home gave me hope again and showed me a different way to live. I went through the Las Vegas, Nevada year program where I completed.
I went on to study at the Hoving Home Leadership Academy, in Garrison, New York. This ministry has saved and changed my life, glory to God. God’s word brought change into my life when nothing else could or would.
