Breanne:
The oldest of 3 girls, born to 2 incredibly selfless people, I was raised in north New Jersey in a stable and supportive home. The only thing missing was God. I identified with being an atheist, ignorantly not caring whether there was a God that even existed. When we lost my mother to ovarian cancer, without having any sort of foundation to stand on, my life began to spiral downward. Social drinking and drug experimentation quickly developed into my main coping mechanism. For the next 14 years, drugs and alcohol dominated every aspect of my life. In 2018, I entered into the doors of the Hoving Home utterly defeated. I had been living in a self-perpetuated hell, spiritually and emotionally void. After so many failed attempts to turn my life around, this is the moment Jesus rescued me. I had finally stepped into the immense freedom that the Lord so graciously offers.
I now have the blessing to work for the ministry that pointed me to Jesus. It is my privilege and high honor to witness the everyday wonders that the Lord continually does.
