Dave Alleger

Maintenance Coordinator
New Jersey Leadership

I was born in Pennsylvania, raised in New Jersey and have spent most of my life in Warren County, NJ.  I received Jesus as my personal savior on August 27, 1971 during what was called the Jesus revolution.  My decision came as a result of my soon to be high school sweetheart “Bonnie” and her family as they shared and demonstrated the love of Jesus.  Bonnie and I were married in 1975. We have 3 grown children and enjoy spending time with our 5 grandchildren and 4 grand fur babies.
My exposure to the  NJ campus came long before it was the Hoving Home. As an early teen I attended a baseball  sports picnic in the mid 1960’s near the inception of the Jackson Valley sports camp Later, In high school I would play basketball in the gymnasium which is now the Benton Academy.
Professionally I have spent 28 years in various positions in the Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry and 15 years in construction, additionally I’ve been a landlord for multiple dwellings for over 45 years. In preparation for my third career, I’ve attained an FMP designation awarded by the International Facilities Management Association. Looking back, throughout my working career I’m amazed at how the Lord has directed my path to prepare me for this season at the Hoving Home.
In my spare time I enjoy fixing things, helping others, playing bass and guitar and fishing.
