Facilities Coordinator
New Jersey Leadership

Hello my name is Michelle Pompa, I’m from Phoenix Arizona. Growing up I always struggled with depression. I never knew who I was, I hated my life. I was born into a lifestyle of sin. My mom and dad were both drug addicts and for a lot of years they were crime partners. I was sad all the time. I always had this feeling in the pit of my stomach of being home sick. Even as an adult, when I grew up and had my own home, this sadness never left me. I did not know then what I know now, that this was God calling me to Him. I was the prodigal daughter who ran into the arms of my Father. Since I had an encounter with the living God I have never been the same. Once God found me and I said yes, I was sold out! Just one touch from God changed everything about me, the joy I have cannot be contained! The Lord is my home and where He sends me I go!
The scripture that God always brings me back to is Mark 5:41 “he took her by the hand and he said “talitha koum” which means little girl I say to you get up and rise!!”
I will never forget what God has done for me. I was dead. All I needed was to hear my Father speak and I came alive.
My favorite memory at the Hoving Home was being in the Leadership Academy. Pastor Tim is truly amazing. He is a great teacher and leader. He took us to see the Statue of Liberty and where the Twin Towers fell. This touched my heart I will never forget it. That was always something I wanted to experience and God is faithful to allow me to.
My favorite food is Mexican food! Hands down! I am from the West Coast and Phoenix is it known for the best Mexican food!
What makes me laugh is the beautiful people around me. I never knew this was real joy.
