I’m from Baltimore Maryland and was born into a loving family. That went to church often, but never knew what a relationship with God looked like. My older brother was born disabled and cause him to have many surgeries growing up, my dad ended up going to prison when I was 6. So at a young age I learned how to perform to gain attention; whether that be on the basketball court or seeking it from men and doing everything I could to fit in with the crowd. Going to college I was trying to fill a void that only God could fill, with men, and alcohol, after a traumatic event, my senior year of college, I got angry with the Lord and ran from everything I grew up learning and met a man who got me into drugs and was abusive I found myself in a place I never thought I would be. I went into a program and gave my life back to the Lord but tried to play the part of a “good Christian person” and relapsed.
I walked into the doors of the Hoving in February of 2023 the Lord has done amazing things, brought to a place a surrender I didn’t know I needed and I’m blessed that Lord brought me here! I’m excited to serve in the ministry that God used as a vessel to truly transform my life and not just play the part.
