Robert Collom

Maintenance Director
New Jersey Leadership

I was born and raised in the Midwest. After attending college, I worked in a corporate setting for over 32 years until God orchestrated events that led to an unexpected early retirement. In that time of uncertainty there was one message he made abundantly clear, “go back to college.” So, at age 50 I enrolled in Liberty University Online and two years later graduated with a degree in Bible Studies. It was about a year later God’s purpose in all this started to become clearer. He was preparing me to lead the church where I had attended since moving to NJ in 1999 with my wife Chanda. We have two children, both well into adulthood and one grandchild (so far).
My wife and I volunteered for several years before the opportunity to join Hoving Home became available. God is at work in this ministry, through the people who work here and the volunteers who serve God by serving others. God is transforming women into His image, and I’m so blessed to be a part of what He is doing in New Jersey and across the nation.
