Sarah Pudlo

Program Manager MA
Lioness and the Lamb Women and Children Leadership

My name is Sarah; I was raised in Somerset, MA and adopted with my two siblings.  My adopted mother had a relationship with the Lord and therefore I knew about Jesus through being involved in church.  In order to cope with my childhood trauma I began experimenting with drugs and alcohol at a very young age.  When I became 17, I began using pain pills, which led me to an addiction with opiates and soon later heroin.
I remember praying to the Lord to get me out of my addiction because I did not know how myself. The Lord heard my prayer and at the age of 19 I entered a sister program similar to Hoving Home in 2009.  It was at the program where I rededicated my life to Christ and formed a relationship with Him. After completing the program in 2010, I did an internship there for six months and moved back home with a church family who got me into the program.
Since leaving the program, I received my Bachelors in Social Work and a Minor in Business Management.  I decided to use my testimony through different employment opportunities.  I have worked at a behavioral home for children in the custody of the Department of Children and Families, worked for the Department of Children and Families, and worked at/directed a teen parent home.
I am married, have two children, and am excited to be a part of working with woman and children at the Hoving Home Lioness and the Lamb Program in MA.  I am grateful that the Lord set me free from my addiction and now I am able to help woman who struggle with life controlling substances and issues as well as being a part of the Lord restoring their relationship with their child(ren).
