I’m from Long Island, NY. I grew up in a dysfunctional family and started drinking at a young age to escape my reality but it quickly progressed into an unmanageable habit. I searched for love in men but they were never able to give me what I needed. At 22, I dated an older man who introduced me to heroin and meth and from that point things quickly progressed in a downward spiral. I ended up losing my job, my self-worth, isolating from friends and family and began prostituting to support my drug habit. I entered a dark world which I thought I would never escape. My boyfriend ended up overdosing one day and was arrested. It was in that moment that I knew I couldn’t go on living the way I was or I would end up dead or in jail. Thankfully my parents found the Hoving Home for me and I entered the program in 2019. I was saved in my first month and I’ve never looked back.

Jesus filled the void in my heart that the world could not. He removed anxieties that have plagued me my entire life and showed me what it means to be loved. I’ve found an eternal hope in Jesus and am blessed to be able to share it with others. I’m currently the Business Manager in the California home and I am truly grateful to have Christ at the center of everything I do.
